I began my career as a writer for The Franchise Magazine. I later applied my research skills to ideation at Aviva as part of their innovations team. This provided an insight into the innovation process and a gateway into the new world of digital.

As studio manager for a design agency, I then learnt about the creative process of designing, developing, and managing website and app builds.

This insight was invaluable to me when I joined Foolproof as their studio manager. I continued to build on my project management skills and acquired new knowledge around user experience design.

When I moved sideways into marketing, I was fortunate to have two mentors who challenged, inspired, and encouraged me to develop my skills .

During my eight years with Foolproof, I built the marketing function but gained the greatest satisfaction from seeing the new graduates I coached grow and develop their skills.

I’ve completed the Marketing Week Mini marketing MBA. I’m interested in how the mind works, personal finance, and the effect of new technologies on society. I’m a mum, creative writer, novice surfer, and even worse pianist.
